The SHIMANO GRX WH-RX870 wheelset represents Shimano’s entry into the full carbon gravel wheel segment, with a design specifically developed to maximize performance, stability and fun on mixed terrain.

The 32mm carbon rim, combined with a 25mm internal width, is optimized for 32 to 50mm tires, providing lateral support, greater comfort, and better control at the low pressures typical of modern gravel riding. Shimano has thoroughly studied the interaction between tire size, pressure, lateral stiffness, and stability, achieving an ideal balance for long adventures and fast paces.

The GRX RX870 wheelset is compatible with 11- and 12-speed road drivetrains, a CENTER LOCK disc brake system, and MICRO SPLINE rear hubs. The 24 spokes ensure consistent stiffness and reliability even in the most demanding conditions. Lightweight, stable, and responsive, these wheels elevate the gravel experience to a new level.
